money-saving1Now that we have talked a little bit about shopping around for the right type of lender, the next step that we are going to talk about is third parties.  While you might need a third party to get things like the title search, appraisal, attorney’s fees, credit report and title insurance, you do not need a lot of things.

For example, you do not need a third party for courier, express mail and other administrative services; typically this is where the room for cost reductions comes into play.  You also want to ensure that you get a zero-point option for your interest rate.

This of course depends on your credit score, if you have good credit – this is definitely something that will help.

money-saving-tipsWhenever you are purchasing a home, there are so many hidden fees that so many people do not think about at all – for example, the closing costs.  Did that little present come as a surprise when you are buying your first home?  They did for me however, there are a ton of different ways that you can cut a lot of the costs of closing and that is what we are going to talk about.

For one, you want to make sure that you shop around for the lender that you are going to be using.  While most lenders are pretty interested in getting your business, you want to make sure that you are going with the right lender.
