It would be fascinating, since green in not a stranger in our kitchens. Kirsten Ritchie, Director of Sustainable Design for the firm Gensler, said that the kitchen is considered to be the most energy-bathed part of the home. So when it comes of mulling over bringing changes in your home, consider on starting the changes at the kitchen.
As they say, healthier kitchens are green kitchens. According to David Linzer, certified Kitchen Designer, toxic substances, such as urea formaldehyde from plywood can actually bring asthma, cancer and other illnesses inside the home. He also added that planning and constructing a healthy home should be the priority if someone wants to go green.
